Materials
All HDPE non-pressure rated conduit meet the ASTM F2160 standard. All resin used in HDPE non-pressure duct will meet the cell classes as required within PE-3408 material per ASTM D3350.

Scope
All JM HDPE non-pressure rated conduit meets ASTM F 2160 that has been heavily promoted by PPI within Industry Standardization.

Duct
This conduit can be used in applications such as Communication, CATV, or power wire and cables as innerduct or outerduct.

Installation Design
: HDPE pipe is easy to install both overground and underground with the newer technology available. Mechanical Connections can be added to HDPE pipe. Directional Drilling is commonly used when installing HDPE duct underground.

Standard Packaging Lengths
Smaller diameters <6 inch are continuously reeled and packaged as shown below and it can also be packaged per request. 8 and 6 inches pipe are manufactured in 40 foot stick-type lengths.

Scope
The specification with which J-M Manufacturing's HDPE pressure pipe is manufactured designates general requirements for their various standards they follow. The pipe can be used for all types of water applications: Potable Water, Sewer, Drain, and Reclaimed Water.

Pipe
J-M HDPE pressure pipe is suitable for use as pressure conduit.

Installation Design
: HDPE pipe is easy to install underground with the newer technology available. The pipe can be joined by various different heat fusions such as Electrofusion, Socket Fusion, Butt Fusion, etc. Mechanical Connections can also be added to HDPE pipe. HDPE pipe can also be utilized in other advanced applications such as Pipeline Rehabilitation, Sliplining and Horizontal and Directional Drilling.

Standard Laying Lengths
All smaller pipes (<6 inch) can be extruded at the continuous reel lengths by request. Larger and Smaller diameters are manufactured in sectioned stick-type 40 or 50 foot lengths.

Applicable Specifications
All Potable Water HDPE products are listed with NSF and meet the criteria in both NSF 14 and 61 specifications. Potable Water Products are commonly manufactured with blue stripes.

Reclaimed/Sewer Applications: .
All HDPE products can be made with a purple stripe on the outside for reclaimed water and a green stripe for sewer applications. These products will not bear the NSF marking but are manufactured to their respectable ASTM standards.
